Yesterday I began a journey to count down the greatest movies of all-time, as well as the greatest members of the Arizona Coyotes.
The List kicked off with Martin Hanzal, an oft injured could-have-been star who never lived up to his potential, but nevertheless is ranked highly in many Coyotes all-time stats.
He's fourth in games played, with over 608, and points with 313, so maybe I should have ranked him higher, but the fact is we are talking an NHL player who couldn't handle a Black Friday at Target without suffering a career threatening injury.
The 50th ranked film was the classic Limitless with Bradlington Cooper. Everyone knows high-concept sci-fi action movies are the best, and this bad boy hits with the impact of caterpillar larva shattering the fibula of Martin Hanzal.
#49 Best Arizona Coyotes Player of All-Time Marian Hossa
Marien Hossa may be one of the best hockey players to have ever lived. Not only did he score over 1000 points and play in over 1000 games, but he was a point per game player for most of his career who also happened to be the best defensive forward of his generation.
Unless he is routinely considered a top ten player of all-time, then I think he might actually be underrated. Hossa once went to three straight Stanley Cup Finals, and over a seven year stretch played in five Finals.
He won three Stanley Cups, and will be inducted into the Hall of Fame next year when he is first eligible. He also once played in back-to-back Finals for the losing team, which is pretty cool (especially since he went on to win Three).
Hossa would be the best Coyotes player to ever lace up the skates, had he played even one game for them.
Unfortunately, he was signed to a lock-out inducing 12 year contract that runs until next season, and he is a Coyote in name only.
Still, I rank him #49 because, frankly, there aren't that many great Coyotes players and Marian Hossa is always fun to talk about.

Coming in at #49 is the classic musical comedy Oh Brother, Where Art Though? Released in the year 2000, this movie is one of the best movies the Cohen Brothers ever made, and they've made at least ten classics.
The reason this movie makes the list is the soundtrack. From chain-gain songs, to gospel, to the sweet folk sounds of the Soggy Bottom Boys, the soundtrack itself is one of the greatest mix tapes ever assembled.
George Clooney stars, but it's Tim Blake Nelson who steals the movie, and even sings his own song (in the jail house now).
I would have thought this movie would have gotten better reviews, but wikipedia says that it got "mixed reviews" which is crazy, because clearly this is one of the greatest things ever committed to film.
I give this movie ten stars and consider it to be the Marrian Hossa of the Cohen Brothers Oeuvre.
