I started work on my new Tattoo last night. My tattoo artist did the outline and im going back to start the coloring and shading process. Why the name of this thread you ask...Its because i have been involved in hockey since i was 9 and will be forever. So i decided to incorporate the NHL into my tattoo. You cant see it yet on the artwork but on the top of the bicep will be a 3- dimensional NHL logo. He said he is going to make it look like its growing out of the muck (Like it was born of the rest of the tattoo. The tattoo will surround my whole upper arm. I posted a few pics from last nights outline session.. Its far far far from done.

Looks like the finished product will be very cool, and painful to get to.

I didn't see the NHL logo, maybe let me know where it will be and the relevance of the rest of it to hockey. I am not dissing the tat as it is very nice and I would never have the pain threshold to get one, just wondering is all.

That is certainly a lot of ink and I applaud the patience you must have to get it done. The only thought that comes to my mind when I see it is OUCH.

sweet, I have a tattoo on my forearm, but I have always said when (if) the Leafs win the cup (shut up ) that the captain holding the cup will cover basically the portion of the arm you have tattooed there.

I know a guy with a pretty sweet Patrick Roy tattoo on the back of his shoulder.

They really aren't thad painful. Alot of people think they are more painful than they are which makes it worse but its not that bad. Shading/filling is the worst but even that is pretty bare able
