Hamilton is clearly the better dman AT THE MOMENT, but Hanifin is younger and getting developing into the same level as Hamilton.
This all really seems like a lateral move at the end of the day. |

Ferland was scored more last season than Lindholm. Hamilton scored 7 more goals than Hanifin. Hamilton is cost-controlled even though Hanifin will be cheaper.
It all seems like a wash at the end of the day. It must be a dynamic issue they'd want to change or maybe it's a financial thing. |
