Would really like Ronald to somehow end up with Noel or Wilde. Take a swing Ronnie.

Hey Bill, what do you see as the main differences between O’Brien and another HS kid they took last year in Noah Cates? |

From other thread.
Any info on previous draft picks...
Pretty sure Salinitri and Dove-McFalls weren't offered contracts, but what about Bernhardt, Tomek or Fedotov. I think Tomek is USHL? |

Wish someone asked about a trade down, but overall not a big deal. Tough call to say they should’ve gone O’Brien over someone like Miller, but they deserve the benefit of the doubt. Flyers know how to find players in the back half of the first round. I envision this working out kind of like what everyone expected out of Scott Laughton |

Quite frankly Bernhardt is the only one that matters and he will be signed (they have 2 years) |

I think it’s fair to at least wonder if they could have traded down and still got O’Brien, although I know Bill mentioned on Twitter I believe Boston was interested in him. I think the Flyers scouting staff and Hextall have earned the benefit of the doubt in terms of this being a reach or not with how Frost worked out in a similar way. In reality you can even argue that the Flyers track record on drafting forwards in round 1 aside from a player or 2 has been outstanding for many many years. Someone, Pierre McGuire I think was raving about the player on the telecast. I think it’ll probably end up being a smart pick |

We believe he can play center, even though he’s a little bit undersized now. Again, he’s smart, he’s thick, he’s strong, so we view him as a center.

Hopefully we can pick up some more 2nd and 3rd round picks. Here are some players I'm interested in the 2nd round that could fall to us: (No particular order)
Albin Eriksson - lw/rw
Jakub Lauko - lw
Jesse Ylonen - rw
Adam Ginning - d |

Like the Sam Morin signing. Gives the kid some security, time to heal, etc.
Get well soon, Sammy! |

Writers, get your "Mattias Samuelsson is the son of Kjell Samuelsson" pieces out of the drafts folder!
I'm guessing the Flyers pick him today. |

Berggren getting no love from the NHL network. If he keeps falling......I think BiggE might have a heart attack. |

Wouldn't mind Ylonen at 50 one bit. |

I liked it even a year ago. Feel the same now. Two first-round picks in exchange for a good upper complementary (but not a nucleus) player was a no-brainer trade to accept. |

All are still Flyers property. Bernhardt and Fedotov are playing in Europe. Tomek is going back to college this year and has two seasons of eligibility left (his step back to USHL last year did not cost a year).

I look at it that St. Louis gave up a first for Schenn and another 1st for clearing some cap space in Lehtera to take Schenn. |
