It's a solid choice. Size obviously is not a factor when you skate with the puck like Hughes. Gretzky, Gaudreau, Kane, Giroux, Fowler, Karlsson. No once notices size when your elite. Today's NHL more then ever. Vegas just made the finals because of speed not size. Speed wins now. Canucks are one of the worst teams because there defense isn't fast enough and can't move the puck well. This pick is great for Vancouver.

Saw him play in college a lot. Felt very similar about him and werenski before the draft...

I think the NHL is transitioning more towards skill and Toronto showed that.

This guy is pure talent, but small.
