7th sure, for the right team. A top 3 pick? Nope.

The Blues aren't going to go after a young goalie when they have Husso waiting in the wings.

Hey! EP looks like a great pick.
Aside from him, you can make the argument JB has made really good picks......when it's outside the top 10!

Yup.....serious butthurt denile.

But thank god you are here so you can tell us all what to think.

But I got to say.... Wtf is wrong with you? The season is over. There is nothing to argue about? Most of us joke on here after the season.... You are a vicious bully to people who refuses to allow opinions other than your own!

Seek help. Take a day or two off the net and clear your head. It's only HB for goodness sakes. It takes a very special person who wants to fight into the summer about nothing.

Why would anyone want Jake Allen? The Sabres wouldn't exactly be sending a message that they're serious if they picked him up.

Most of us joke around and just have fun here. But you are not one of “us”. No one likes you. The rumour was the Canucks were interested for the 7th. That’s why I mentioned them specifically. Could have been a few other mentions.

To put in a cordial way, the Nucks don't really have a great track record in the drafting department as of late. I mean look, it's not just the Nucks. Many teams don't draft well because so much of drafting is luck and a gamble.

Based on how they've been drafting, I agree that trading their pick for someone like Hanifin is a wise move. All year this draft year was touted as being one of the deepest in a long time, but they've pulled a 180 on that.

Hanifin is 21 years old, only three years in the league and keeps getting better with each season. 32 points at 21 in Carolina? If I was Vancouver and that's all Carolina wanted? I'd jump all over it.

Thats ok Mike. We are usually on different sides of the fence with the Canucks/Leafs thing. Thats common. Iggy is furious at something. Thats not normal. I wish him well though.

Recently I called him out for shouting down any opinion that was not his and called him a Sanctimonious hypocrite for his treatment of others. He did not like being called out and now he searches me out to harrass me. But only special people fight about nothing in the summertime on hb. Very special.

So I wish him well.

Without me, he would be off shouting at clouds.

As for 'us'... Sorry if I ever pissed you off so much thst you 'hate' me. I will try to do better and not be personal when talking about the Leafs.

Ssssshhhhh.... I know thats exactly what Linden said but that 'truth' does not agree with other expert narratives being offered here.

Although, get him or another dman. I am good.

Just get the best dman available when they go to the table. So much depends on who hets drafted ahead of him.

ummmm, I like their last draft a lot.
Pettersson
Lind
Gadjovich
Palmu

Jury out on OJ. But he was ranked as the #1 Dman by Bob McKenzie going into draft. Probably projects as a 3-4 tho. Not great. Not bad.

Brock Boeser seems like a decent pick at 23, no?
Demko in the 2nd?
Tryamkin in the 3rd?

Seems to be some pretty good picks to me. If anything it seems JV and OJ were just picked too early. A mistake by this org has simply been not acquiring more picks. Judd Brackett seems like a solid piece to our scouting dept.

I agree the Canucks have made some good choices. Lind could be the steal of the draft. Quietly stockpiling grade A assets.
