The only time you get to judge who wins a trade is right after the trade is made. Anything else means you're working with information the team's didn't have when they made the move.

The idea that you need to "wait and see" is insanely stupid.

You forgot to bring up the only thing that matters when it comes to Habs trades: does domi speak French? It’s a huge deal.

Galchenyuk > Domi hands down. Much higher ceiling and athleticism. Another bad trade for the habs. Now lets see if they secure the next few years of lottery picks with a 6M AAV deal on Jack Johnson.

Looks like the Habs are gearing up for the Jack Hughes sweepstakes. Bergevin lost this trade as he has most of his recent trades. Hey, but he speaks French, so there’s that!

Galchenyuk sucks, but Domi sucks more. I like this trade.

Two players who needed a fresh start somewhere switched teams.

If it was Domi +, maybe it would be a wash. This is a huge win for the Yotes. Good for them, they need to play better to boost attendance and revenue. Bad for me, I hope this doesn't affect my $30 game tickets and $9 - 25oz beers when I go.

Im happy Bergy is in charge, its small but he waived both Barberio and Ghetto who are nice solid depth guys on the Avs now.

Then he goes around and over pays on the same sort of guys in trades or UFA. Could have just kept what you already had?

I think Domi is going to be a stud for the Habs. The Yotes will play Gally at center just to prove he can do it, even if he can't. I hate to sound like a smart person here, but Arizona just got punked by Marc Bergevin. Eat it up boys
