Don't know who actually made it. My Son sent it to me and I posted it right away.
Funny as hell. Stape Dracula was pretty funny too. - nyisles7

I mean we don’t actually know where he was on who’s radar. All we know is Garth’s had 4 years in a row of top 5 picks and none of them are on the islanders. That simply cannot happen. - kindlyrick
Based on McKenzie's speaking to scouts, he was atop many lists across the league. DalColle was the consensus pick at that spot. |

What’s this Stape Dracula - kindlyrick
This was sometime last year I believe. I think chief posted a picture of Staple and I said he looked like Dracula and chief did some Photoshop magic. |

Nino, Reinhart, and Dal Colle were all more-or-less expected to go exactly where the Islanders took them. Garth thought top-5 picks were just plug-and-play guarantees. |

Yeah some of the memes are just priceless. Although i will say, while not a meme the Snow photo with the three chicks in his basement (with wedding ring) is my all time personal fav. |

2nd round and deeper picks tend never to be a consensus. Anything past top of the draft tends to never be consensus bc the deeper you go, the lower the chance of being an NHL regular player. There is a great piece by TSN Scott Cullen on how probability drops exponentially. And even in top spots out of the top 3, drops significantly.

If that's what he's suspected to get, then no thank you. - bgainesDM
That's absolutely what he's going to get. Dude is the best defenseman by a country mile in a putrid year for defenseman UFA's. Someone is gonna back up the dump truck for him. |

I like the draft for the trades and if the Isles have a top pick. The Draft is very frustrating drafting these 18 year old kids though. Isles have really failed in the development and coaching. Hopefully I will like it more with Lou in charge. |

This is true. The latter part of this is not true... they know they took a shot and had probability/risk assessed. In getting burned a few times, I think they took too much risk. In Strome & Reinhart they were able to overcome via trade. Their handling on Nino from GM and coach was godawful and they should have held out for better. Though despite Clutter's terrible year last year, overall, he did bring some rough edge they needed while being able to skate (which Matt Martin could not). But terrible handling across board on Nino. |

When you think about it. Four years in a row.....busts. I’m not exaggerating when i say you or I could have made picks and had made out better. |

Yes: this is a BIG weakness and why bringing in Lou had been so important. The organization failed. |
