He's not very good, either. He turns over a ton of pucks in his own end and also seems to have quite the proclivity to deflect pucks into his own net.

yup, the turnovers were bad but that seemed to be common among the whole team, they'd all just flip the puck up in the air and hope it clears the zone...and it almost always never did. very frustrating to watch.

The problem with Pelech is that he's a 6/7 dmen, who was basically being given DeHaans minutes. DeHaan is a marginal second pair guy, so to have Pelech now take that spot......well, we all saw the results, with 40-50 shots a night. The Snow isles had too many guys playing in roles that were above them.
