Speed is so 2017. You win the cup with Tom Wilsons and Ryan Reaves now - Fredobbface
The bolded is actually a decent hockey player too.
He's basically what we wanted Andrew Shaw to be. |

Wilson is bigger and a better skater but yeah, we sorta wanted Shaw to play that style. He did, he is just physically done. |

We wanted Shaw to be 6'4?
In terms of point production they are really comparable and Wilson plays with better players. Shaw is just worn out as a smaller guy playing a big boy's game. |

Kind of agree with him. - BashCH
I don't disagree.
Personnally I would go safe with Zadina who's a consensus no.3 but Tkatchuk should be a fine hockey player, a little bit of sandpaper in his game the habs could use. |

The only knock on Tkachuk is that his lesser offensive upside may very well turn him into a 2nd line winger.
When picking at #3, go for the guy that has the most chance of becoming a superstar.
I won't be sad if we pick Tkachuk, he's gonna be good. Just wouldn't be my pick. |

I wonder where he would have been picked last year if he was born one day earlier. |

Yes. But the superstar has more chances of disapointing like a Yakupov, where a Tkatchuk will always have his use. I would still go for Zadina like I said. |

Zadina is the fastest player in the draft, this game more than ever is built on speed |
