If he is your guy and you can't trade down to a spot where you think he still might be on the board, you just draft him.

He is currently ranked anywhere from 4-10, depending on the draft rankings you want to follow... so not a complete stretch for a team that has not had a real center in 20+ years or so.

and the habs are finding out trading for a young center is extremely difficult, most teams draft them. They drafted a center last year in the 1st round and they will again this year IMO

Dobson is very, very good.

I think the Pietrangelo's comparison is bang on. Then again I believe there's also a possibility he'd end up being a solid top 4 instead of a superstar player. Kinda like we've seen with Darnell Nurse.

I'd rather go Zadina or Bouchard at #3.

Dobson should be picked in the top 10 imo.
