Although I do beleive the Oil over acheived in 16-17, i think last year was an anomoly.
The injuries, the personal issues and the retarded special teams wont be that bad again. Hell, even Lucic will almost assuredly be better. I think we make the playoffs.

I dont see Lucic getting better- he was slowAF and will continue to slow down- he is not a top 6 yet with the Oilers we will play him there because of Chia... Puju- will be a fringer again- I am left with questions about that kid- all the tools- but not there yet... Yama- will most definitely be playing this season- so there is some excitement there... but the rest of the roster- is kinda meh outside Connor and Drai...

Only way I see him signing for cheap is if he wants to stay in WSH. #1 d-men simply don't come around in free agency.

Subban is 9 I think. Karlsson and Doughty should be getting 10.5 on their next deals. Carlsson isn’t on that level in my humble opinion. But I could be wrong.

When are you right?

There are just too many teams lacking a #1 d-man. Heck even the Golden Knights could be opening up the wallet. They bring in a guy like that and all of a sudden they have a pretty legit defense that won't have to rely on Engelland to play 22 minutes a night.

At the end of the day I think WSH find a way to keep him and he ends up around that 7-8mil mark.

If Larsson, Klefbom, Sekeras and Talbot arent on their A games this season is lost and lost fast- regardless of McDavid and or Drai trying to carry the freight - will be just too much!

Playoff at this point should be a given. We should be talking about contending.
But no we have morons at the helm.
