I think James is referencing his support of Putin. I say this just as a matter of fact, not wishing to denigrate this thread into a post on politics.

Great write up! I admire Ovi but since he’s almost singlehandedly beaten the snot out of my team multiple time I can’t say I really like him. But if he was a Devil, be LOVE him long time. He’s sensational and with none of the Cindy Crosby Whine. Pure old time hockey!

I want to see two expansion teams in the final that have never won the cup. One waiting about 44 Years and one waiting 1.

P.S. If I lived in Russia, I sure as hell would be very supportive of the crazy dictator that ran my country.
OV is a big celebrity in Russia. If he was anything other than supportive of Putin, it would probably get back to Putin pretty quick. So by all means be publicly supportive and buddy buddy with the guy so there are no misunderstandings that result in your close relative suffering a tragic accident, etc.
