Not sure why they resigned him. Maybe they see something in him but realistically fans wont forgive him for Mac and he hasn't exactly been lighting it up. Best outcome for both is to trade him. Sens get a new prospect and he gets to move on with his career.

He isn't exactly lighting it up on the AHL though. I bet the only reason they did this is because he plays D

I thought he looked pretty good from what I saw on TV. The McArthur hit was dumb but he also wasn't ready to come back.

Sens will have a lot more young guys in Belleville next year. You need minor league vets with some sandpaper to their game. It is a good minor league signing. Despite the Mac hit, he is popular with his teammates.

Hell one of your own fans above is wondering whether or not he was off the books yet.

We are not talking about Crusty the Clown levels of fan affection for MacArthur and losing him didn't cost you guys a playoff spot.
