I'd assume Määttä had some saying about Riikola. He's not a big guy. Same size as Sid. Hopefully he's another steady finn for our team.

How and when did they lose both of those guys? I missed it.

They both signed with teams overseas. I don't remember which teams but Pedan left while we were in the playoffs and Bengtsson more recently .

Not 100% sure if we still hold their rights or anything.

Regardless, while I think the Pens can upgrade a few spots in the lineup, my first focus is the defense.

They can retain their rights with qualifying offers, but doubt anything cones if it. Bengtsson signed a 3 year deal so he clearly doesn't intend to come back anytime soon.
