This is a pretty small sample size comparing players on variable career trajectories over the span of a decade (where the NHL has rapidly evolved). Todd, I like your analyses most of the time, but this data doesn't say much.. Put him in the NHL and give him real ice time with quality linemates (if we have them). That's the only way to see what he's worth. I don't understood why a franchise would invest a top 15 pick in a player and then, "underinvest" in that player by simply hoping he adjusts to NHL-calibre play while playing in the minors/major-juniors.
