Really? That hit was absolutey nothing. No force, no impact. Just a tap from behind. When did the NHL get so soft? - Leniwm1
From behind and he left his feet. Didn't target the head tho. 1 game. |

Eklund you are thirsty for page hits! Nobody in their right mind would take Toews at $10.5 mil if you watched him play last year. He looked 39 not 29. It's been reported that he has never fully recovered from the back injury he suffered at the...wait for it....(frank)ING WORLD CUP OF HOCKEY |

No suspension on Stralman until he does it for the 3rd time this playoffs. Wilson was threw 2 dirty hits to the head, leaving his feet and didn't even get a penalty until he did it a 3rd time.
I hope that guy gets hit by a truck what a piece of garbage of a human being. |

Lest we forget, Bergevin traded for Shea Weber, with his $7.8 mil/yr till he's 40.
I can absolutely see him doing something ridiculous like Gallagher & the #3 for Toews & Nashville's 1st, because #leadership. |

Tavares staying in New York somewhere, or going home to Toronto...
Everything else is B.S. - aries1976
i'd say any legitmate playoff team with cap space could be in the mix.
tb, nash or sj should get involved. |

It's not a clean hit and warrants discipline but it shouldn't be receiving all the hysteria either. Seen worse. 1 game. |

No games. Wilson looks back and sets himself up. Stralman does jump into the hit, but does not hit Wilson's head, and Wilson's head doesn't hit the glass at all. He totally sold that. When they show the replay from the crowd side, you can clearly see no contact by the player or the glass to Wilson's head. Stralman should have been given a charging or boarding penalty. |

Listening to Wilson try to play the victim now is kind of hilarious. When you play the game over the line like he does, he should expect to have a target on his back. What a hypocrite. |

Nashville would be an interesting landing spot for him. Probably not likely, if he goes anywhere, but I don't think it'd be impossible. They'd have to dump Turris for pennies on the dollar and consider moving out more salary in order to fit Tavares in.
Man, looking at CapFriendly now...David Poile only has two players with either NMC or NTC's. Rinne and Emelin, who they've already said they aren't bringing back. That's absolutely impressive given how many guys get them these days. |

I think St. Louis has a great chance for Tavares too. Excellent club. Traded their #1 C RANDOMLY at the deadline to clear cap space and the position to pitch for JT |

There is no such thing as a dirty hit on Tom Wilson. Stralman is living by the golden rule, treat others how they treat others.
Montreal should def trade the best defenceman of this generation for an overpaid average 1C. |
