I was wondering if Voracek would be a fit in Montreal. I was seeing something like this:
To Montreal: Voracek, Philadelphia 2018 1st rounder, Hagg
To Philadelphia: Montreal 2018 1st rounder, Galchenyuk, Montreal 2018 4th rounder

Surprised you didnt mention Zibbanejad as an option
Not on the level of Toews or Seguin but much more realistic option imo - mrn22
I would rather the Impact trades for Zlatan |

Ppg pace is always around 0.80 aside from last years 0.70. Still very valuable and Chicago has an off year. He should still see .80ppg production with Drouin/Pacioretty/Gallagher imo. - Brandon Smillie
No it isn't.

Looks like regression to me. His # of Shots attempted has actually gone up, while the number of goals he's scored has dropped off. |

Did he play center in pee-wee? |

Radulov's contract is fine for the first 4 years.
The last 2 when he's 36-37 may be a tough pill to swallow.
Not the worst contract around at all. - Scabeh
He's only got a 5 year deal and will be 35 in the final year of his deal. By my estimation, a contract that's good-to-great for the first 4 years and potentially poor value for one year is a good and easily-manageable contract. |

Because it was all based on Ek saying they were targeting a #1 C from a Central team. |

No but they mention Seguin who i thought played wing with Benn? Didn't know he played much center. |

Charlie Coyle makes more sense to me. Nothing amazing I guess but maybe he could do better with more ice time. |

I wouldn't do it, Voracek is awesome but trading Zadina (I assume) away for a 30 year old player would break my heart. |

Looks like he’s still capable to me but I don’t think we see these the same way with regards to MTL’s needs. |

That's what I didn't know. I see a lot of Montreal things about still being in the win now mode.
The Flyers window I feel opens the 19-20 season. |

With Benn taking a fair portion of faceoffs iirc. My impression is they split the faceoffs by strong-side. |

Poor Brandon.
Some people are calling him crazy because there's no way we're getting Toews for so little.
Others sare calling the idea of acquiring Toews in the first place the worst idea since Pepsi blue.
Ya can't win buddy. - Scabeh
No, people are all pretty much saying the same thing. That his proposed trade doesn't make sense. Some are pointing out why it doesn't make sense for Habs to add a 10m cap hit for the amount of production it brings, others are pointing out it doesn't make sense for Chicago to give up an 8th overall pick to trade away their captain for a worse player. Both are true. |

I don't think Montreal is winning jack poop any time soon regardless. And what they'd have to give up to get Toews likely wouldn't help matters.
John Tavares is the player people seem to think Toews is. |
