nothing will ever be done about it. it's a fact of life in the US now unfortunately. every time it happens, the gun debate hijacks the entire story. and i use the term "debate" loosely. one side proposes sensible changes to gun laws, the other side pretends they said something completely different and everyone gets really tough on the internet. but the side that brings up the gun issue never acknowledges that guns are just a part of the problem and the issue goes beyond easy access to weapons. and so forget about anything being solved. there will never even be a serious discussion around this issue.
