That McAvoy kid acquitted himself quite well for Boston.
Darn good model for what you want from a d-man in 2018.

Bruins eliminated.
Come on Washington, take out the Penguins.
Marchand and Malkin do NOT deserve to be playing meaningful games after their cheap shot season-ending injurious actions they took.

- 35Tony0

Bolts were too good to have any calls keep them from winning in 5, never thought the Bruins were going anywhere

Feeling the Pens will squeeze this one out, definitely game 6.

Barring MAJOR changes, Hawks are in the basement of the Central again next year IMO.

Hawks, Dallas, and Minny on way down.

It will be fine. When CC comes back, we will only lose games 3-1 instead of 5-1. Cant win giving up 40 shots a game with opposing wingers standing at the net with zero opposition. As I said. All kinds of good things to look forward to next season.

-Inept play from your stars outside of Kane.
-Awful play from the blue line.
-Injured CC who may not be able to come back.
-HC who is nutz in handling his lines.
-A 100% bad PP with a hit/miss PK.
-Zero identity.
-19, 2 and 7 got old real quick and had little impact and may not ever again. The only one with any trade value is 2 and he is still the de-facto #1 D on this team

And a team that appeared to quit/tune out the coaching staff. By all means bring Q and his staff back along with Stan. Your identity starts with your HC. As long as Q remains there will be no identity. No physical get after it. No push back. Just hit that stretch pass and its all good.

Absolutely agree.
My question is. ...what are these "big changes" that are being forecasted for this team ???
In my eyes everybody is available except Kane, Schmaltz, and Debrincat.

And I'd honestly consider a blown away deal for 88 if it came to be. That would have to include a #1/2 dman, a top 6 center prospect , and high draft picks.

“Insiders” have reported a very active/aggressive summer is in the works for Stan Bowman. Should be interesting to see how the summer unfolds after Winnipeg wins their 1st Cup. They are my pick right now. Please not PIT/NSH

Winnipeg tampa finals my picks from the start of the season no bs make with friends at the beginning of each season so far so good neither are there yet. Major changes shoulda already happened with Q and bowman being let go. So what major changes are bowman going to make draft undersize d man not be able to trade Seabrook or hossa s contract without getting fleeced again and suddenly Q us going to change the way he coaches i guess we'll see what happens. Not to optimistic but hope i am proven wrong.

You have to think that you try your best to trade Hossa’s cap hit to use that $5.5 mil in Free Agency to add a solid player. You also have to try and move Seabrook. It is nothing more than a prayer to expect a player in his situation to suddenly turn back the clock and be a $7mil defenseman (Toews MAYBE bc he’s a few years younger but he too will likely never sniff $10.5mil in on-ice value). I read a “rumor” article off Facebook, so highly reliable , that said Dale Tallon wants veteran Dmen and he once bailed out Stan with the Brian Campbell contract and is the type of guy with the open checkbook and loves “intangibles”.

I don't know about Peg going all the way on the fence honestly. At times they are so irresponsible with the puck if the Preds could have taken advantage of it they could of scored some big goals in this series. Which leads me to LVGK, this team is so responsible with the puck i can see Vegas winning that series.

Bolts put away the Bruins but honestly they really aren't that good defensively, i guess that's why they play the games but i can realistically see Vegas winning it all

My gut feeling is that next season will be either extreme: more of the same (possibly worse) or a strong comeback season that catapults them into contender status again. Nothing in the middle.
- AEL_Fox

Could be anything.
1) Next year worse than this one. Crawford not playing or not recovered. Core-4 continues their decline. Young guys progression stalls, etc.
2) Contender status: Crawford fully back. Core-4 bounces back. Young guys step up. New additions all positive impacts.
3) Some place in the middle.

Been watching Vegas a lot. My new adopted team. i think it would be quite the hoot if they won it all. Seems as tho they almost always get the puck to go 185' from their own net. And no one ever seems to take a shift off.

The Hawks should be watching these guys.

Agreed 100% it would be an extraordinary story if Vegas won it all. I love how Winnipeg plays hockey and the citizens of Winnipeg love hockey with a passion and deserve a Cup. Hopefully Winnipeg closes it out at home! VEGAS TO THE WEST FINALS IN THEIR 1st SEASON...WOW..Knights vs Jets would be a great matchup to watch.

Completely agree, especially the 185 feet, as if it's a bonus if they are able to score or generate a shot but the teams goal is to just get the puck behind the red line of the opponent.

Oh yeah and the hustle hustle hustle

I usually love a 7th game of any playoff series, but my hockey world would very happy if all round 2 series end tomorrow. Then I’ll settle for three game 7s in the remaining two rounds

Can’t think of any better sportsmanship tradition in sports than hockey’s handshake line at the end of the series.

Two quick observations: 1) MAF with four shutouts over the first two rounds; know it’s a team game, but Wow! and 2) when did Ryan reaves become a hockey player instead of a douche?

So does Wilson become available?

Or because they made the playoffs he gets a pass?
