Shero should hard after Erik Karlsson.
Severson, Zacha, and Quenneville could do it, maybe a little more or take a contract.
Reasons why:
Severson is not trusted with Hynes and Karlsson is a huge upgrade from Severson. Severson is younger, but Severson is getting at the age where is he what he is.
Zacha has been good defensively, but not so much offensively which is where we needed help with secondary scoring in the playoffs. Also, with Mcleod in the wings, I'd be okay with trading Zacha, maybe try to pry Pageau away in the trade.
Quenneville 3rd/4th liner at this point passed over by Wood, Bratt, and Coleman.
I could see the official deal being something like
To OTT: Severson, Zacha, Quenneville, maybe our 2019 1st(protected, else 2020 1st)
To NJ: Karlsson, Pageau, and Ryan(I hate his contract, but he hasn't played with a Taylor Hall like type player since ANA, Getzlaf/Perry. And Hischier will have a year under his belt) |

Santini was bad, that's why he didn't play.
Also, anyone who thinks the Devils issue is they need to be tougher should be smacked.
They couldn't compete with TB talent-wise, that's why they lost.
