In the end, the Flyers could not overcome Radko Gudas and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Still waiting for a suspension on the brutal hit on Couturier. |

I just want a goalie.
For the love of god. 28 or however many goals given up in 6 games.
I know they have spotty defensive play, but holy (frank). Carter Hart, you’ve already got the world on your shoulders. |

Exceeded expectations for the year. Now let’s get on with the next phase of the rebuild as we get rid of more scrubs and add talent. Next year playoffs are expected and the year after starts the years of perennial cup contention. Go Flyers!

The coach played a slow sick goalie to begin with |

In all seriousness, I always thought the trade Couturier fools were just that. He is the center you need to win a cup. He put it all together this season. And it was not because he was being carried by Giroux. |

If your going to knock off the champs, you need a lot more guys to elevate their game then what the Flyers had. Despite back to back cups I never got the sense the Flyers were totally out classed in this series....they simply poop the bed . Disappointing. |

No. No more band aids. Its time Sanhiem, Hagg & Morin fill these roles. |

Thought hagger aclimated himself well in the 2 games.
Thought ghost had the worst series out of all the flyers. Errant turnovers, weak coverage, shooting into skates. A totally confounding series coming off the season he had against a team you’d think he’d go off on.
Coots, Provorov, Patrick, and amac all had a very good series.
Interesting summer up ahead. |

Get the dead weight off the team, and replace with the up and comers who have speed and skill.
Goaltending is a complicated mess as always. Looks like carter hart is the real deal but we can't be sure and have to have someone to bridge the gap if he is. Let mrazek walk first. I try to unload neuvy if I can just because he's not reliable to back up Elliott. I'll have to check the ufa list to see if we can get a solid backup. I'll tell you this, if the d didn't struggle as much as they do, then a goaltender like Elliott could work to win a round or two. We need a true franchise guy and maybe hart is it.
What I will say is that I don't want us to have a carousel back there. If hart is the guy stick with him for a bit through struggles. I can't tolerate the fans and team running the tender out of town. Bob was not handled well. We need some patience and stability in goal once we find who we think is the guy and let him grow.

MacDonald had a strong series in my opinion for the Flyers. Here is the indicator. When a player like MacDonald is able to be used as a 3rd pair 16-18 minute player and the top 4 consists of players like Provorov, Sanheim, Gostisbehere, Morin and others is when the Flyers will be ready to take out some teams and make a playoff run. This is not a knock on MacDonald it's just an indicator that the Flyers have a lot of areas to get better. Spare me the argument that Hakstol has to play them. He didn't play them as much as he will in the future because they're not ready for it. |

Hagg, sanheim and morin need to be on this team next year. If we're going to lose, lose with some of our young guys as they learn. |

The littering on the ice was a disgrace. It makes it real hard to defend the fan base. The bottom line is it happens to often in philly and the reputation is earned |

Just unaccepatble running that guy out there all the time after the pathetic display. Manning I can tolerate as a 7 guy but gudas needs to be replaced by morin. Some of the worst attempted clears by a dman I've seen in my life. |

You fail to understand the if Manning is back he won’t be used as 7th D. Like Vandevelde we need to cut bait and move on |
