Always miserable at the end but look on the bright side. Butcher is way better than I or anyone expected. We had like 10 players making playoffs debut. Not one "expert" picker us anywhere but bottom. Got good experience. It was always long shot as tb is great. They are simply a better team right now. We competed, all you can ask for

Really hope I just watched John Moore's last game as a Devil. He's been making 1.66M on the cap for the last 3 years and will undoubtedly get a raise. It better not be from us.

It's unfortunate we don't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick this year, to either draft a player for for Ray to make a move

Hopefully Moore walks but I have a feeling they like his smooth skating and his OT goals

While it's good to move the puck up skating we do need players that can tough it out and get it out of the zone and not be pushed around like rag dolls

The primary focus this offseason needs to be a top left shot Dman to play with Vatanen. Move Greene down to a 2nd pair with Severson then put Butcher out there with Mueller or Santini. If they run the same d out there next year, they won’t improve.

I know I'm supposed to be positive and appreciate things and not complain.. but seriously. How many times are we going to let the TB forward park himself in front of Cory while our dman stands next to him? not pushing him.. not trying to move him out of the way.. just stands next to him waiting for the puck. MOVE THE GUY OUT OF THE WAY.. or at least attempt to do something. make it somewhat of a challenge at least!

They definitely need to improve the left side and find another player that can score. Hall can't be the only guy that puts the puck in the net. But we can't complain. This season was better than anyone expected. A lot of bright spots.

UFA market is weak for defensemen. They need to address the blue line with someone who will punish the opposing forwards instead of the half a$$ effort they got from Lovejoy and crew. They would need to find this player through a trade. Nice first step and can’t wait for October.

I have a feeling we'll only see one change on D, if that. And now we have no picks except our 1st. Grabner. what a joke.

Gotta cross our nuts Zacha can be a 2nd line center next year. he made a small step forward this year. he needs to make a leap to be more than just another 3rd line guy. freaking Provorov

I think at worst we have a good 3 line center in zacha. Really hoping for a 2nd, he's only 20 but I'm losing faith and seeing provorov be amazing ld kills me

I keep holding onto "he's almost 20". If he was 30 he'd be a fringe player IMO. He just doesn't carry the play, doesn't initiate, isn't the aggressor. He's so so passive.

Great season boys.

Really glad the season ended with Cory playing great. It would have been non-ideal ending the season riding Kinkaid and spending the whole summer wondering what the goaltending situation would be next year.

The Devils need to add a couple of real solid d-men. I'm wary of giving Carlson a contract we'll regret down the line, but man he's looked great this post season. He'd be a great addition, contract aside.

One player I was really bummed out about this series was Severson. In general I'm a defender of his but man he looked bad. At a certain point he has to take that next step we all keep assuming he'll take.

Really excited to see the young guys develop. Nico can become elite. Zacha is hot and cold, but when he's on he looks great and is still young. I love Coleman and thought he was one of the best players for us this series. I think Wood has room the grow as well. Bratt looked good today, I wish he got in the series earlier. There's a part of me that fears him becoming the next Tedenby where he looks great at first but is never able to play at that level consistently moving forward. At least he was a sixth rounder and not a first. Butcher was another one of our best players this series.

Taylor Hall for MVP. I'm glad he finally got into the playoffs, even if briefly. I wonder if we'll look back on this season as an outlier or if this is the beginning of him being consistently one of the elite players in the league.

Let Grabner and Moore walk and lets hope we sign Maroon I really like what his style of play did for the team especially not being afraid to park himself in front of goalie too. Was a great season and cant wait until next year!!Lets go Devils!!
