If Vatanen cannot play I don't see us having much of a chance as our defense leaves much to be desired even when he's playing. But I'm not going to get too stressed watching this game. The boys did great this year and hopefully they play with pride and maybe steal this one and bring it back home. If not then it's hard to be dissapointed in a season where everyone expected this team to finish near the bottom. You know next year Shero will find a way to improve this team and the younger players will be even better.

It is impressive how far the Devils rebuild has gone, and regardless of what happens today, the fans should be pleased with the results.

Nico and Hall are a great duo to build around and having Vatanen on the backend is a solid anchor to keep things steady. Schneider when he is on his game, he is one of the best and is underrated and underappreciated outside of NJ.

This series has been closer than the scores make it appear. Anything can happen. This Bolts fan is not taking this game for granted. The Devils will bring their A-game and plenty of desperation. I suspect this will be a tight battle - no blowouts in this game.

Thanks. I was never expecting playoffs this year, and overall have been thrilled with Shero's big moves (not his deadline moves but that's ok). This team has great talent to build around going forward, and a lot of cap space. Hoping for the best today, but prepared for the worst. Cheers.

Haha he is. No clue why he avoided the "dark room", his head bounced off the boards, and was the first thing to touch the ice. Our D are struggling down low, and even simple break out plays. How did we even win a game prior to the vats trade????

Nothing wood make me happier to see at least one of them leave/demoted after this season. I want to see them pass the torch to new leadership. As for this period, its been a nightmare except for the last 3 minutes. Linemates are out of sync, way too many turnovers.. Hynes couldn't get em ready for the game.. just shows the playoff inexperience.

Agree 100%. Just needs seriously reduced minutes. His IQ is there. With our cap space we could play him bottom pairing. I am telling ya, sign Carlson and Enstrom and this teams D will be solid as anyones
