TEAMS HAVE TRAILED 2-0 IN A BEST-OF-SEVEN SERIES A TOTAL OF 291 TIMES AND HAVE COME BACK TO WIN THE SERIES ON 37 OCCASIONS OR 12.7% OF THE TIME.

Apologize for the caps, I copy pasted.

No word on doing so home and away though.

Oh here we go! Did you think they were bringing home the cup this year? Teams lose in the playoffs you know? It happens. They came up against a much better and more mature team than them. They'll get some experience this year, make some adjustments in the summer and take another run at her next year. In the meantime they'll have to deal with all the fire and brimstone blowhards that are bawling their pretty little eyes out because the buds didn't bring home Stanley in 16 games.

You have to figure that losing the first two games at home would cut that in half, giving you roughly a 1 in 20 chance of coming back after down 2-0 at home.

What? The four game prediction is completely in line with my life long quest to make fun of predictions. The Leafs could easily be 2-2 having done nothing differently, an that's without one of their best players for three games.

I'd rather they be winning, but they are the farthest thing from an embarrassment. Also Jake Gardiner is a 57% player for the series so far, and that's about what the best possession player in hockey does over a year, so not too shabby either.

From my un-statified eyes, I tought Djoos was playing well. Or atleast he does a few things well:

his mobility/ability to carry the puck out our zone seemed evident last night.
Only Dman who does it better is Orlov in my opinion.

His passing needs work, but just limit that for now.

Orpik is a 5 million dollar pylon. I guess there's no shortcuts to safety in the construction world though!

This stat is so BS....we barely got to the net last night and everybody on our team was over 50%. If not for the Bruins missing 5 empty nets in game 3 we'd be golfing already.

You're right, Djoos is fine. I was trying to sarcastically point out how crappy Orpik is.

djoos had a bit of a rough night, but was great in game 3. It happens, he should be playing the 4th most minutes of our d-men though, still.

You don't seem to understand much. They are about 2 years ahead of their original rebuild schedule. They were never close to the top pick to win the Cup this year and ended up facing the team that could easily be called the best team of the East over the last couple months.
They are gaining invaluable playoff experience for the coming years in which they may well be that favoured pick. Although, a little less than experience than I would like (I picked them to lose in 7).
And thanks for that newsflash about their D not being good enough yet. I'll file that with water being wet.
Enjoy your 4/20! Although, it sounds like you must have started early.

If they're 2 years ahead and are facing the best team in the East you'd think people wouldn't pick them to beat the Bruins or even get to game 7 TBH, unless you started 4/20 on 4/1

What is your prediction on what game the Caps will be eliminated in, 6 or 7? I'm going with 7, they love losing game 7's...

Nobody cares about possession when you are a train wreck in your own end. He couldn't get a shot through to save his life on the point and he is a giveaway machine but keep using fancy stats to justify keeping him.

I dont care if it's a rebuild or not you dont put up 105 pts and then come out and play with that little of heart. Every one of those players should be embarrassed they wear the maple leaf

Hey, they usually have a ton of firepower. Andersen has played lights out at points this season. I do live in Southern Ontario, maybe I’m getting soft. I gave them enough credit to think they would give Boston some trouble.
