Someone just stopped into my office and said Murray got hurt in practice, any truth?

May have tweaked something. He finished practice after a lot of stretching. |

If people do want to compare era's, it only reinforces what Mario did later in his career before interference and hooking was being called more properly post the 2006 rules enforcement. The majority of Mario's career was played in the garage league era. When he originally retired he was at 2 points per playoff game. Not bad when literally carrying defenders on your back. |

Speaking of era's. Did anyone see the original footage of record the Pens tied with 2 goals in 5 seconds. They should have played posts back then the tending was so bad. |

Anyone take a gander at Philly's "adjustments"?
Filpula 1C and Sanheim benched for Hagg.
Looks like its gonna be a 5 game series. Flyers mailing it in. |

Filppula is skating there because Coots is making the trip. I doubt that is a line they would actually use in the game.
But they mailed in last game, it was a disgrace. Nolan Patrick and Provorov were the only players who had decent games.
I didn't expect the Flyers to win this series. But last night, they didn't even compete. The Pens could have had 8-9 goals, they just toyed with them.
Good luck vs. Columbus. |

Not sure about that. You know it's going to be a headhunting exhibition from the drop of the puck so that if they somehow get lucky enough to win game 5, they can better their chances of winning a game 6 too if enough of and the right Pens players are injured. This is the Flyers don't forget, we know how they deal with losing, especially in humiliating fashion to the Penguins. If anything, even if they do lose, it will please them to appease the fans with a Crosby injury or something of the kind. Did anyone see the two-hander Read made to the back of Brassard's legs at the end of the game. It'll be like that turned to 11.
You know what they say in Philly: Die with your boots on...and if possible, take Crosby with you. That's as good as winning the Cup for most. |

Dude, seriously, shut the (frank) up. This isn't the 1970s Flyers, or even the 2012 Flyers. This team is passive as (frank), and the Pens have the dirtiest player in the series (but he's hurt). They're not going to go out and hurt people, because if that was the case, they would have done it late in games 1 or 5 when they were getting blown out. I hope they come out with more fire than they had last game, but I seriously doubt they run around trying to legitimately injure people. Hurt, yes, injure, no.
Also, can you please show where you heard that slogan in bold? I've never heard a Flyers fan say that, but will be glad to eat my words if you can show me. |

the best we can hope for as penguins fans is that every game, like they have, goes to overtime. but can we at least get a 3 overtime game for once. dang. |

The scariest part for the Pens is that, OT or not, the Caps are getting physically hammered by CBJ, not the other way around. Aside from Wilson doing stupid Wilson things and the occasional TJ Oshie sighting, the Caps aren't really making it hard on CBJ. |

This morning on 94 WIP the radio host was imploring one of the Flyers to punch Crosby in the face in the next game. |

I don't think 2Real has ever uttered the phrase "Die with your boots on." Also, 2Real is actually a San Jose fan if you haven't caught onto his schtick yet.
Edit: If the Flyers were going to actually retaliate against anyone, I'd rather it be Malkin. Crosby is just annoying because he lights us up. Malkin lights us up and is dirty as (frank). |

That's your fault for listening to neanderthal Eagles fans who only know "We don't like Crosby" when it comes to hockey.
Did any of them say "Die with your boots on?" |

Morganti, on his own, actually understands hockey, same with Jones. But Cataldi is a moron who doesn't watch hockey, and basically every single caller is really just a knuckle-dragging Eagles fan who doesn't actually watch/understand hockey. |

We’re a lot faster than the Caps at this point. I’m not saying the Jackets will be an easy out (although we proved we match up well against them by sweeping them this season), but Washington is a lot worse than people are giving them credit for. They’re not particularly fast anymore, and they’re not particularly heavy anymore, so they don’t have much of an identity. A not fast, soft team is exactly the type of team CBJ will dominate. |
