Ducks were never in the series.

Barely the playoffs.

They took advantage of Cal, Edm and Van all being below par to get into the playoffs.

But this will screw them in the end.

No future in Anaheim.

Plus Kesler is well past his expiry date. Perry and Getzlaf are fast approaching it.

Wow john. There is a future in anahiem. We have prospects. Most of our picks. And a young goal tender and defenseman. And if need be Bob could trade up if he likes any of those prospects in the top 10. On top of that we have 10+ in cap space.
The big problem is who do we keep and who do we let go. Henrique, silfverberg, and Gibson need contract extensions after next year. Montour, Kase, and Ritchie are rfa's so they more money this offseason.
But the Million dollar question is do we trust Bob and Randy to do it. They've already had one rebuild. Now things are back to where they where 10 years ago. Back then we had young forwards in Getzlaf and Perry and a aging defence.
Looking back the whole process really wasn't horrible. We've had 6 years of playoffs for 4 years of failure. It's just lame that the Ducks wasted the prime years of both players because they took so long. And it's not like replacing them is easy either. Most players their caliber a drafted top 5. Can't say well sniff a top 5 pick anytime soon.

Bad things happen when your team doesn't make the playoffs.

This writing about Gudas is pure hackery. Even the choice of words is poor. What was he thinking? He didn't see him. Stop trying to stir up sh*t where something unfortunate happened because you want people to read your blog. I can't believe I got sucked in by this.

Being around the site from the beginning of time, one thing is as constant as the seasons changing. That is Garth trying to make up for his poor content by trolling teams with a good following on here with garbage like this. Keep up the good work Garth.

And you blame/fire a Stanley Cup winning coach because your entitled hasn't won anything 'generational' talent doesn't like him (and ignore the lack of talent in the system) .... and then replace that coach with a former star because he was an assistant coach that ran another coach's system .....

Funny thing is there's complete radio silence from Garp now that the next No. 1 Sabres goalie has a 79% save percentage after 5 periods in the AHL playoffs.

He now has a 80% save percentage and a 5.60 GAA after 2 playoff games.

Garp won't be reciting those stats.

Seems like more than poor drafting and developing, organizational dysfunction is what has kept the Oilers, Coyotes and Sabres down for so long. Same thing plagued the Leafs but I give Shanny a lot of credit for cutting the bullpoop Andrew making quality hires.
