I won't complain, especially given the refs have been incomprehensible in their calls, now I have no clue what is goalie interference.

As I said in the previous blog - CBJ get called for goalie interference when they're pushed into the goalie by the defense !! but when Bob gets bumped and run into the refs are sucking on their whistles like a baby's pacifier ! It's BS on the ref's part.
If you're going make crappy calls - at least be consistent. That's my big whine for the refs in the NHL - they make, or don't make, the call based on who the player(s) are, and which team it is.
I also believe that philosophy is rampant in the "replay room" in Mount Toronto.

And yes - I agree that Jenner, and Werenski deserved what they got. But in the 1st game, why did Anderson get a 5 min. major and game misconduct, but Wilson got 2 min. ??? !!! Wennberg is still out, and Wilson is still playing. Maybe he whispered "I'm sorry, I didn't really mean it" a'la Marchand, and the refs just let it go !!

I wish you would stop saying the Jacket's are stealing these games. Having a tender that makes a difference is part of the game. The Jackets are earning these games. C'MON MAN.

Didn't see the game, but I did listen to torts post-game pressor with the media. Very interesting Q and A, the man has changed his spots, at least in public. If you get on the CBj site that is part of NHL.com you can see it for yourself.

Completely agree with this. Also, I look forward to the day that so many writers stop acting like Corsi is the only thing that matters. High-end finishing ability matters-see last year CBJ vs. Pittsburgh. More importantly, idiots like Tom Wilson taking stupid penalties matter. Willingness to block shots matters. Not giving up a 5 on 2 matters. But lately there are a bunch of folks that are ready to bench a guy because his Corsi is 48%, and give the Hart to someone who is 53%-without regards to matchups, zone starts, etc. Oh-and goaltending really matters.

Hockey has a bunch of parts to it, which is what helps make it great. It isn't that simple.
