He's had a mediocre series but I don't think I enjoyed anything more than Boyle chirping Sergachev at the end there. Gold

It was dirty, those who don't see Hedman play a lot don't know he has a little edge to his game. But your making it out like he ended Nico's ability to produce children. It wasn't that bad. I'm sure he will be fined but that is not suspension worthy considering Hedman doesn't have a bad reputation.

Good game Devil's they deserved the game, the Lightning shot them selves in the foot with all the penalties in the third though the Sergachev "elbow" penalty (Coleman off balance running into Sergachev) was crap the rest were deserved and the Devil's capitalized.

Looking forward to game 4. Will be another fun one, they have all been entertaining. I hope the Bolts stay out of the box and get Cory moving, I don't think his groin is 100%.

I'm hoping to see a suspension. That's not something that should be tolerated in the NHL. How can you be a serious league and be okay with guys using their stick to hit someone in the groin. It shouldn't matter how hard the hit was, that's not the point. That's in no way a hockey play.

Yeah, its a poop play but its never been a suspension. However I think there needs to be some ability for the linesmen to discuss with the refs to make a call like that. Its not a hockey play and not a judgement call for the refs and the linesman clearly saw it.

The frequency of that play in the playoffs is embarrassingly high. Exactly. How can you even defend that? What's the defense? That has nothing to do with hockey. You can't allow stuff like that. One game should be minimum for that.

blue balls aside.. I'm still so pumped we won this freaking game. Game 1 was depressing, game 2 was a step in the right direction.. and now we see just how good we can be with Grabner out and Johansson in lol . But really, the compete level of the team picked up where game 2 left off. I turned it on in the middle of the 2nd, so I can't speak for the 1st half of the game, but they looked much better.. and more "urgent" as Hynes said.

What a great victory!! Tampa fans real salty talking about the refs today on the boards around the net. The Bolts reaction to being down yesterday tells me they know we actually CAN win series and if we win another game - that fear may actually materialize.

They also got big Boyler 'stoked' up. Hopefully we carry that fire into game 4 and tie this series up against these nut sack spearing primadonnas.

I agree with this completely. I have a huge problem with spearing. This had nothing to do with a hockey play or battling hard.

The play was long over and thus, in my mind, constitutes a deliberate intent to injure another player, and worse - using a *piece of equipment* to do so. Should we allow guys to take skates and helmets off to hit each other too?

It’s dangerous, classless and unnecessary in this league and it should be an automatic 1 game suspension to start.
