If that's the case then I hope he walks.

If he does, at least they'll have a ton of cap space. Which, of course, will mean jack #@$& with that @$$clown running the team.

Like Botta said in that podcast the other day. At the end of the day the players don't give a shat if the coaches and Gm's get fired. I think JT's problem is he always tries to say the right thing instead of just being completely honest no matter how much it might hurt to say
- Vukota

There's a difference between being truthful & diplomatic and being truthful & an idiot like Dez Bryant. JT just isn't as truthful and forthcoming as we'd like. He should be though. "I'd kind of like to see what other opportunities might be out there. I might listen to some offers. Ultimately, I'd love it if I could finish my career here." It'd still ambiguous as to whether he would re-sign or not, but it would let people know he's contemplating going somewhere else. Just me.

I always use the analogy of an 84 year old woman driving a Lamborghini. Just cause you have it, doesn't mean it gets utilized properly.

He's been groomed to be a professional athlete pretty much his whole life. Plus he's got the personality of a wooden plank.

I just cannot picture JT playing for the Leafs with that spotlight and attention.

You do not see Wang as an evil plot type of guy?

This theory I'll never understand. If he's doing nothing what's the point? You do more good overall fiscally and otherwise just jettisoning him.
- Cptmjl

Totally agree Cpt.

But if he has to be there because of unforeseen circumstances then this is what he would be doing at Northwell Ice Center if I were running the show.

But Im just an Uber driver so...

All kidding aside, he gave that deal to Garth to try to protect him. The last thing Wang wanted was L&M coming in and cleaning out Wang's guys and being hero's. That's why Wang did not want to give up control for a few years.

Again, We have no idea what Wang did or didn't do.

As far as JT backing weight and Snow publicly there isn't a pro who wouldn't do the same. Whats he supposed to say, Especially when he is looking for a new contract? No one wants that guy on their team or in their locker room. Just ask JHS how its worked out for him.

It's Wang so it had to be bad. Is it really a shock he would want his lackey for years in Garth protected with a nice contract and especially since Wang would not pay? Just look at what happened at CA? This is not a squeaky clean business guy. I never expected JT to publicly go after Garth and Doug. I do think he should have worked behind the scenes to get them replaced just like other star players have done in other sports and just like Messier did to get the Rangers a Cup. I know JT is not Messier but he should have taken a page out of his book.

Maybe L and M can sign AJ to become GM and take out Snow all at once? Kill two Birds with one stone.

Well we know he extended Snow to a long contract which is being reported as 10 year. We don't know how much said contract is worth but the fact that he extended a GM for that long is insane. Who in their right mind signs a GM for that long. It's completely (frank)ing nuts for obvious reasons even if he were at any point good at his job in any way which he was not.

I'm not sure why there is shock or any debate about Wang doing something crazy? Did we forget the committee and getting rid of a Cup winning GM in 40 days and hiring a backup goalie in the 1st place? Any wild story about Wang has an excellent chance of being true. Wang probably understood full well L&M wanted to come in and clean house and he made it tougher to do that.

100% but, we're talking about the same guy who signed a Goalie who did shat to a 14 year contract
Made a committee movement to Run The team instead of a single GM, fired the Key Guy after 3 months which made the others run faster than shat through a goose and then proceeded to hire his backup Goalie as the new GM now I ask you is it any wonder why this Team has had zero success under this A$$hat

There's more but I have to go puke now.
