Fired or neutered, I could care less. Right now with out a replacement I think they are holding on to Snow to have some normalcy in the regime and I think it just might be for JT's sake.
If your JT and they just fired the GM and Brisson calls Malkin and says ok Scott Snows gone can you tell us who's taking the reins now.

Well we have 3 or 4 candidates but they are tied up with their current teams in the POs so we don't have a deal in place for anyone yet but we will. Trust me

Oh ok Scott, so John's gonna sign a contract without knowing who the GM is and what his course is and plans for the team are moving forward? Call me when you have you shat together because we aren't dealing with hopes and finger crossing, Click.

Hey now Snow has built a Stanley Cup contender on finger crossing

I have no idea just going by what people that know more than me or anyone else on this page for that matter. Probably more speculative than anything else but a more educated guess than any if us have none the less. There certainly seems to be something significant holding back from making changes and it wouldn't surprise me if it were a contract or if it were at least part of the reason.

With this Team you never know. The secrecy, and band of brotherhood hiring is enough to make me nuts let along a 007 type evil plot against the new owners from Wang.

Again the Team can only blame themselves for all the BS it goes through because it is run unprofessionally by a unprofessional, plain and simple.

I 100% agree Jimmy however if they were to "promote" Snow to the broom closet and he doesn't have a thing to do with hockey decisions I am all for it as well.

My only problem with this scenario is, who with a real resume and winning track record would come here and work under snow?

I think the only one is maybe Lou. I know it's hard to believe however he did give Chris a job and Lou does like Garth ( what I have heard ) Probably and only because he did give the job to Chris?

- nyisles7

This theory I'll never understand. If he's doing nothing what's the point? You do more good overall fiscally and otherwise just jettisoning him.

I want Garth fired yesterday and it's easy to say the owners will cash in with Belmont but that's at least 3 years away. Lots of owners do not want to pay people big money to sit home and do nothing. It's not the best if Garth get re-assigned but I'll take it if means a new GM.

The unbelievable becomes plausible constantly with this club. Unfortunately it's never in a good way.

Don't you think JT heard this Horse Shat when he signed his very team friendly last contract? The BS isn't cutting it this time. Can you blame Him? I don't think anyone can. He can get 10 million with any team out there that wants him. So why should he say ok again to the myths and smoke and mirrors he's come to know for his whole career?

I mean he's taking his time and the Team has only themselves to blame for that. They gave him this time to make his decision and like everyone else who would be given the opportunity would surely take it. You can't blame him.
Just my opinion of course.

- nyisles7

You're right. It is L&M's fault. They gave him complete control of the situation. I don't blame him for wanting to take his time, but at the same time, poop or get off the pot. He's known this coming for a while now. I don't blame him for wanting to see who, if anybody, they bring in. Who knows, maybe he's stating his case for Snow to remain.

Exactly! Any time you think they will do something logical, they go the complete opposite.

Tavares has helped (frank) this team royally and unfortunately our GM and owners have given him the leash to do so. If he leaves I'll be cheering for whatever ogre we have on our team to run him.

From the coaches to the GM to the owners. Easy decisions are oh so complicated for stupid people.

If Snow and Weight are still here, I won't blame JT a bit for walking.

I get the point of JT being quite and shy but I still think her could have done more to get improvements made to this team. We've seen plenty of players from different sports do it. JT has been a fine offensive player but has failed bigtime as leader. Even Weight mentioned in the exit interview JT has to improve in his leadership.

I don't blame him either but he knew what his intentions were before the trade deadline probably knew last summer also. Sick of the whole wah "I need time to think" givemea(frank)ingbreak. This guy shouldve been traded before camp if he was unsure. Too risky keeping him and to keep hi past the deadline was mind numbingly stupid of we lose him for nothing which looks more likely than not he will (frank) us with no lube. I don't give a (frank) about Tavares or whether he gets his feelings hurt I care about the team.

Maybe he's campaigning for them to stay. Not out of the realm of possibility. Especially with this group.

The whole lot of them, (Snow, Weight, JT, L&M) can all go down to the dog pound. Play with the (frank)ing mangy mutts all day and get fleas & ticks for all I give a poop. Get a (frank)ing flesh-eating disease. So (frank)ing tired of the Isles soap opera crap.

And that's what's sad. We, the fans, get (frank)ed by all this because we care about the team. We want done what's in the best interest of it. These numbnutz care about status, a paycheck and lemon & cucumber in their (frank)ing country club glass of water.

Like Botta said in that podcast the other day. At the end of the day the players don't give a shat if the coaches and Gm's get fired. I think JT's problem is he always tries to say the right thing instead of just being completely honest no matter how much it might hurt to say

He's been groomed to be a professional athlete pretty much his whole life. Plus he's got the personality of a wooden plank.
