I like him as the retrieval/garbage goal RW for Eichel. He's what they want girgs to be on that line. Eichel needs a speedy sniper on the other side

Absolutely. Had similar sentiments as Jack. No feeling sorry for yourself. No excuses. Figure out what's wrong and go do what's right.

I really hope he gets in together for next season. The Sabres definitely need wingers and he fits into the top 6 if healthy and focused.

I agree. Would love to see him play with a little more nasty and snarl though. He has the frame -and I think the mentality too - but he needs to be a bit more of a pest

I hope not. Not because I want to keep Okposo, but because I severely doubt he considers him a core player

Playing on the 1st PP is a 20'ish point per season privilege that Okposo may lose next season. He could easily play better next season and put up fewer points. I'd be fine with that.

I think it's interesting to contrast his interviews with RoR (all season, not just the clean out). Kyle has a way of presenting himself better, even when they say very similar things.
