Dad's band back in the 70s did, they actually recorded an album. But we don't play enough together to do originals. We only get together like 3 times a year, bassist lives in Boston - Giroux_Is_God
All good, nothing wrong with covers, I do a lot of em. Comes in handy when you have 3 sets to fill.
Plus you guys sounded great! |

Farabee is a great prospect, but don’t sell Ratcliffe short. It’s rare to see a guy his size skate as well as he does and the kid knows how to finish. Once he fills out, this kid could be a beast.
A top 9 of the following in a 2 or 3 years could be a machine:
Ratcliffe-Patrick-Konecny
Lindblom-Frost-Jake
G-Coots-Allison
And that doesn’t even factor in guys like Rubtsov, Vorobyev and a perhaps a forward taken in this year’s draft. - BiggE
Fair enough. He's the one prospect I absolutely keep forgetting about.
I'm def onboard with Patrick long-term being the 1C. Some of the passes the kid makes are just unreal. |

I used to have a microkorg. Didn't love it but they do make some other sweet synths. Currently using the Roland Boutique D-05. Freaking love this thing.
I'm a long time guitar player but have recently been all about synths. Currently lusting over those Moog Mother 32's😍😍😍 - hereticpride
ughhhh Moog
i slacked off a bit on the music stuff once i got seriously in to graphic design school but i still have the Korg laying around somewhere. got it 2nd hand from a buddy of mine who was moving. i love the Akai MPK mini for just messing around with various soundscapes |

Very cool. I wish I had some formal music knowledge. I’m completely self taught. Basically just kept playing until it started sounding like music, lol - BiggE
my middle school and high school had classical guitar as an option. my high school teacher was the man, he was a huge Megadeth fan in his early days and would let us hang around after class and jam for a while. one of my favorite teachers i ever had. |

That’s awesome!
My wife is a classically trained pianist. Sometimes I’ll write a song and then have to ask her what one of the chords I’m playing is, lol. I do know all the basic majors, minors and sevenths at least and a few blues and minor scales, but half the time I find myself telling my lead stuff like “well it’s basically an Fmaj7 slid up to the 5th fret”
He just rolls his eyes and figures out a sweet fill to play over it, lol |

I had that Akai. Im using an Arturia Keystep now. I don't know why but anything music production involving a computer just throws me through a total loop. I pretty much only play for fun now.
I'm all about those analog synths tho. (frank), I really gotta win the lottery. - hereticpride
You and me both, I really want a 58 Telecaster! |

i had a couple of friends who were super in to the production aspect of EDM so i picked up most of the basics.
one of my favorite bands, Periphery, literally has an entire room dedicated to their analog synth collection. |

I recently sold my 83 telecaster. I'm a huge Jeff Buckley fan and I had an exact rebuild of his tele.
I have a Squire 50's vibe tele now and believe it or not that thing sounds absolutely amazing. Got it off eBay from someone who did a custom "relic" job. Thing legit looks like it's 60 years old.
I've always been a tele guy but I'm really tempted by that Ed O'Brien Strat that just came out. |

Somebody like that who is proven would be amazing.
I'm honest. I truly believe the Flyers can beat this team, but they are operating with a razor-thin margin. If they keep taking penalties, it's just not gonna end well.
One way they can began to close the gap on some of these teams is at 3C and upgrading Manning with a honest-to-gosh No. 5/6 third-pairing defender.
I've got nothing against Manning, really. I admire undrafted guys carving out a career and making it to the league. I wouldn't throw myself off a cliff if he was the No. 7.
But they have to narrow the talent gap between themselves and the best teams in the league, and 3C and Manning's slot are two ways they can do that - AllInForFlyers
I completely forgot we have Oduya, do you think he'd be a good replacement for Manning?
