If the devils want too win the series one of their goaltenders has to steal it and from what I’ve seen from kinkaid is he hasn’t been bad but he hasn’t been great and I agree without Todd in saying one period is a small sample but I would go with Cory in game 3 He looked like a man on a mission in the 3rd period yesterday hopefully he can carry that into game 3 and steal us a game |

If they want to win they need stop getting ran the (frank) over holy cow these guys are still soft as poo. Hopefully Ray see's this. It was one thing when Winnipeg was running us over because they are huge but when our defensive defense man gets wrecked twice in one minute by a poop like Miller. Way to many passive players who couldn't care if they get ruined they just are ho hum about it we need guys who are looking to punish players not someone who throws half invested checks every now and again so it shows up on the stat sheets. |

more so there were many times where we would win the puck in the offensive zone eva behind the net or in the corners but there was no one in front of the net to pass to, or to create problems. |

When Cory was put in goal and making the big plays yesterday, all the surrounding Tampa fans asked me why we haven't been playing him over kinkaid. Sadly I had to explain to them the ordeal. But they all agreed that Cory must be in goal for us to win.
But let it be known, I called it yesterday in warmups that kinkaid looked sloppy and probably wasn't going to fair well for us. Just wish Cory was put in sooner. |

have to start Schneider, Severson, Mueller, Bratt. Lovejoy is doing nothing but hurt us. Grabner is doing nothing more than he's always done, which is just short of nothing. I wouldn't mind if Boyle had a game off. At least Bratt can make a play every once and a while. What we REALLY need is a healthy Johansson, who is better than half our forwards. |

exactly. Cory looked like he was ready and WANTED to GAME. Kinkaid's demeanor has been like most of the team.. one that has no playoff experience..one that is young and trying to survive. You don't try to survive in the playoffs.. you don't TRY anything. You go and battle to the death.. not have a mindset of "we'll try our best".. hoping it'll workout. Cory was great in that isolated bit of action yesterday. |

Found it really interesting to see Hynes starting 7 D-men. Based on TOI, it shows he doesn't really even trust anyone cept Vatanen.
Other notes from this game, the TBL offense is a juggernaut that we're not gonna control unless Kinkaid/Scneidy decide to show up. As a team, we're not built for playoff hockey- we gotta bring out the speed and embrace high scoring games. Go all-in on the offense since the Bolts don't have a particularly great defense, either. Sub-in Gibbons/MoJo for Boyle |

Anderson signed and practicing with the team. Imagine Bratt if they start Anderson over him.
Schneider is starting game 3 no doubt in my mind |

Doubt he plays. His ELC is effective this year probably to burn a year and get a real contract sooner than later |

The objective is to move the puck closer to the net, put it in an area, and have the final player who touches the puck drive it at net in a way that makes it as challenging as possible for the goaltender. If the Lightning continue to be faster at carrying the puck, chasing after the puck, and passing the puck, this series could be a sweep.

I'm sorry, but it looks like Boyle doesn't want to lay a check on his buddies. Numerous occasions to bury someone, and he's pulled up. We need to be harder in the corners. Getting killed there. |

No it starts next season surprisingly. But he can still play in the playoffs. Similar to mcavoy did. |
