there is a waiting list for season tickets, demand is high, people are sadly willing to pay for a poopty product - Symba007
I think it's safe to say that it's pretty rare for fans to actually boycott the habs. People will complain a lot, but they'll still go to games, watch them on TV, buy merch, etc.

ratings and merchandise sales were both down this year...
LadaTV (TVAS) was not happy this year, they paid a fortune for the Habs rights

Nice!
Ratings and merch were down, but I'm pretty sure it was still very profitable. And they've surely accumulated some profit over the past years, for rainy days
edit: talking about the habs organization... Not sure what the LadaTV situation is lol

Worst part is, there are a few duos that are better than this one on TVA Sports. He may not be popular, but I prefer Yvon Pedneault over those guys - Pat1993

McGuire and Dubé on TV would be a dream come true. - Scabeh
I don't like Dubé, two-faced coach according to all his ex-players. Over analyzes everything, uses meaningless words like situation numérique to appear smarter and constantly contredicts himself.
McGuire could be done but he would need to learn to tone it down a notch for TV. On the radio he tends to sells a shot in the goalie's crest by Plekanec has the save of the century

Houde and Denis are very good, by far the best for French broadcast - Symba007
Houde has flawless french and years of experience. Sometimes I'm a little annoyed that he's often clueless why a whistle is blown, oh it's icing, oh no offside oh wait it's a penalty for the habs. Also takes him 18 replays to figure out if a shot was deflected and by whom.
