Ouch - willschulme
Ugly on Maroon. Then a beautiful I formation screen by Mueller and Moore. |

Thats a minus 3 for mulleur, wonder if that will get him a seat in the press box? I doubt it, he seems to be one of haynes' favorites? |

I had real hope for a comeback after the 2nd goal but it's looking less likely now. I didn't expect them to win the 2 away games but hopefully they can come back stronger in the 2nd. It would be nice to bring a 1-1 home. |

Well lets see what happens Game 2. Obviously TB came to play from the start. We did not. |

The Devils have been run over this year by teams that played a hard hitting game. The Jets, Ducks, and Caps come to mind. The Bolts came out and finished every check (threw some late hits and elbows too) and played an in your face game we weren't prepared for. They really shut down the zone entry attempts along the boards and made them pay for trying. Could be worse. At least no one was injured. |

I watched the whole game on my phone slightly distracted, but it seems Mueller was very bad. Take him out and put in Severson please.
Also please win at least one of the next two so when I go to game four it's not 0-3 |

Has anyone this year seen Kinkaid make a glove save? How many times have we seen a goal wiz by him without him even flinching? The guy plays his angels and does nothing more! If the puck is lucky enough to hit him... Take this joke of a goalie out! |

There was some analysis on NHL.com of the goalies and it shows KK has given up a ton of goals glove side. It is his weakness. Vasy has issues around his blocker that KK is very solid at. Not as bad as KK glove side, but just saying everyone has a stronger side.
For a backup he has held down the fort well and he deserves credit for that. The problem is he really is just a good backup. He's not a steal the game type goalie. Unfortunately Cory is a mess and I don't think he's the answer either. That leave Eddie Lack.....and that's not an appealing option.
