Just got sick to my stomach reading that penalties could be the difference in bos/tor. Don't like that being a key to the series, when one of the teams is a stone's throw from the league office.

Agree that Leafs Bruins is the series to watch in the first round.

What I love is that so many friends who hate the Bruins (Marchand), will have to cheer for them since their playing the leafs.

Should be a battle.

Toronto v Boston could go so many ways. I wouldn't be surprised to see a close fought series that goes deep and into several OTs. I also wouldn't be surprised to see either team get swept and dominated.

There is Toronto overload right now, starting to feel like they're the higher seed.

give it a rest gee.
this is bs and you know it.
the leafs do not get "special" treatment from the League.

I think this will a good tight low scoring series.

I could see a few high scoring games before things settle down. Both teams have great offense.

LOL. Did you even read the actual comment where he said the the Bruins take more penalties, or do you have selective reading problem?

It could be the difference because the Leafs have the 2nd ranked PP in the league, and the Bruins take more penalties. It has nothing to do with an NHL office being in Toronto. The NHL headquarters where Bettman works is in NYC.

Relax, I don't like a key to the series being penalties, no one should.

And that has what exactly to do with an NHL office being in Toronto?

Don't worry, the league office is all backed up with Ek's requests for rumours. Staff are overworked, won't have time to review penalties.

it's the insinuation that the Leafs get special treatment from the league because they are in the same city.

You're just mad because you don't have the league office on the B's side anymore after Campbells departure.

I'll take a New Jersey upset over Tampa, and do Boston over Toronto.

Clearly they should move the league offices to Des Moines, Iowa.
The Leafs get special treatment due to the war room in TO.
The Ranger, Islanders and Devils get special treatment due to the NY offices.

Makes sense. I also heard that Russia might be interfering with Bostons penalty calls.
