I don't know how to feel about any of this.

With the way the Blues have played, if they win, they play the Predators and I fear it will be ugly.

I want the Blues to win, but the disappointments grow and grow. I have very little confidence in Jake Allen leading the team to anything, so the thought of the Blues in the playoffs loses a lot of luster. I suppose it would be a great story for him to turn hot and steal a series.....but I have so little hope of that happening.

Of course, if that does happen, and then the Blues play Dunn on the 1st power play unit....that could change dynamics enough for an exciting series..

Basically, I want them to win still, but.....

I was wrong. Sundqvist is in and Thompson is out.

So a goal from the blue line and a goal against in the last minute of a period....two things that have been way too common this season.

Parayko was really poor on that shift. Takes himself out of the play to try and deliver a hit? pressure? in the neutral zone. Then the play luckily allows him time to get back and he doesn't box out or push through the Avs player in front of Allen. Very poor shift. He's been struggling, especially the last month.

Yes, but technically we can say that about a lot of games this year with this team. On Wednesday he didn't look comfortable from the first shot, kinda surprised Yeo didn't have a quick hook.

To me, usually you can tell pretty early if Allen is going to be good or not in a game. If he is fighting it early, it's usually an adventure.

Completely agree which is why I'm surprised they leave him in those games, especially when you're battling for the playoffs with very little room for error.

The problem is the quick hook has a psyche problem that may make those games more frequent. It's a tough spot to be in.
