Game day b!tches!

Trailing by a goal 4 different times. Came to tie it up every single time.

The Sheary goal just might be the most impressive takeaway from last game. The midget just hung in there and kept whacking away. 3rd line might be just fine.

That's what ya like to see.

I dont want to touch that 3rd line when Brassard gets back.

Pretty much as I expected. Pens carried play for most of the game. Just some incredible boneheaded plays by Letang that ended up in the net. MM was not particularly sharp but he made 3 big saves in a row to keep it a one goal game. Refs missed some pretty blatant penalties last night.

So you want Brassard to man the 4th line?

Since coming back from injury (and around the time he signed that extension) Patric has 12 goals / 17 pts in 20 games.

haha I don't know anymore. Put him on a wing in the top 9 and let Jooris be 4C.

I feel like every time RW says infers that a team they’re about to play is “lowly” it doesn’t go well.

Honestly, I would be in favor of putting Brassard on Crosby's wing and bumping Rust down. Rust had that hot streak a while back but it's dissipated of late.

Also, people keep blaming Letang on the PK goal, but why was Dumoulin going to Vanek when he was on the boards? He was leaving Letang with a 2v1 down low while Vanek was no threat and was being pressured by the backchecking forward. Dumo left Tanger high and dry

Dumo was aggressive because he and Hags had a chance to out man him. Letang tried to read the play and abandoned the front of the net. He read it wrong. If he had of stayed in front of the net the worst that comes form the play is the puck stays on the perimeter behind the net. That would have given Sheahan time to move down.

Ive noticed Dumoulin in a lot of bad ways the past month or so. He gets next to no criticism around here though.

I did. Thats for a whole year right?

Doesnt change what my eyes have seen, which some nights is a lack of effort(can go for most of team) and some bad blunders that ended up in back of the net.

How biased are your eyes though? And for the record I have never been overly impressed with Dumo. He is like a better version of Dekeyser for me.

Your eyes and basically nobodies eyes can compartmentalize the things we see. What you see and/or remember will be massively impacted by cognitive biases.
