Really glad Zacha/Noesen/Palmieri were clutch this game. Hall was an offensive juggernaut as usual. And personally was decently impressed with Mueller's game, as well. My main worry is the Defense; come playoff time, they're gonna have to step up.
Which got me thinking.. who do you guys think is the Devil's most liable D-man? |

Palmieri has been really big for us down the stretch.
Maybe NJ can do what they did back in... 2006*. Just win out. Slap us up a big 100. Play Pittsburgh first round and wipe em out. |

Maybe I just don't notice it as much but Mueller doesn't make as many stupid plays that result in a goal against compared to Lovejoy. I could be wrong though.
As for the too many men penalty, Grabner was skating towards the bench then changed his mind and played the puck. Thats on him.

You aren't wrong. Lovejoy has expired in terms of NHL competance. Mueller is a much better/cheaper depth D option. Also, Thanks to toronto for the help tonight. |
