If Dylan's debut could be as soon as this Thursday, I could see the Hawks sending down Martinsen and calling up Tyler to create a "feel good" story in addition to the great news of signing a top prospect.

20 yrs ago maybe. As little of business as I even care to understand I have no problem with a model that says we're gonna take care of the guy spending 80k ahead of the guy spending 8k.

I'm willing to be inconvenienced to the extent I want my club to stay solvent. Take the 80k before he changes his mind or gets run over by a truck and drive to his office to get the check if need be.

$80k probably gets you some perks - but $8k or $80k should get you the same quality basic customer service.

And successful businesses know that and make sure it happens.

For one thing, $80k ticket holders probably don’t spend 10 times as much on concessions or parking or merchandise....

They’ve used up their 4 non-emergency call-ups I think - maybe Toews injury can get them another one - don’t know if they used one for DuClair’s.

Hogs are also in a pennant race - they may want to let some of that play out - important to see how these guys do under some kind of “win or else” pressure (even if it’s not for Stanley’s Cup).

I don't think too much, really, after lids like Sikura and Edjsell are playing. Bet you will see effort, excitement from thrm as well as Hayden, Highmore. Some of the veterans will catch the enthusiasm and play a sound game. Maybe just a few hiccups BUT i worry how much confidance goaltenders have

sikura has good hands but I thought his wheels look more AVG for his size. also was not very active on the DEF end. Hughs was the more impressive for me so far. NE to the PPL.
