Todd, I thought Brodie had a very good game, in fact he even pasted Ehlers with a Gordie Howe type of elbow.
PP is dismal. I can't understand the reluctance to play the young guys on that bottom pairing when we have had so much success with the young forwards giving us a spark. Concerning when you don't trust a freshly minted 3.5 mill Dman. I like Kulak but we need to keep expectations in line that he may only be a 3rd pairing guy. He hasn't established an identity. He can move the puck but doesn't do that enough, not sure why. Brodie at his age & stage of his career was starting to wheel & you knew what he was. Kulak isn't really a rugged guy. Until he differentiates himself, he is a serviceable 3rd pairing. We need a rugged young guy back there that has the personality of Matty Tkachuk. Young & antagonizing, kind of what Phaneuf used to do in his first few years & playing an annoying great game. To me that's what our backend is missing.

It was a good night, then again, any night you have the Crown flowing is a good night.

We had a few couples over & we like to order takeout & then play some Rumoli with loonies. On a bad night it's hard to be down much more than $100.

How about you, get into any Crown or trouble?

How do you drink it, with coke/ginger-ale or with water or straight up?
I used to have some 4 Tylonel mornings but I find when I press it with water, I'm pretty good, maybe only 2 Tylonels if I drink too much

Usually a splash of ginger.

Is Frolik done for the season? If so I think getting a top 6 RW by the TDL will happen.

They are a bunch of cheating fcks!!! For some reason the refs love them!! And Brady and his fake injuries before big games is getting old!! Go 🦅 and Vikings!!

And after that rant I’m a Niner fan...

Although Grap will be good for them!!

Agree I thought Brodie looked good yesterday.
Power play sucks balls, getting really tired of watching every team in the NHL do the drop pass to the speeding player coming out of their zone. Though I understand the reason for it, it's time to change it up. When every team in the league is doing the same thing it's pretty easy to defend against. If you haven't figured out how to stop that attack by now you have no business coaching.
Out of our top line I really liked Ferklands game, he seemed focused and engaged in the physical part of the game. The hit on Morrisey was classic Ferland. He hits hard when he hits.
I to Todd would hope Rasumus gets and extended look before we go throwing away more picks and prospects on another aging defenceman. Agree with Kevin that with all the speed and improvement we got from our young forwards, it's time to insert some on the backend.
They got a point which at this time is important, but they gave up 2!

More than we want to give up. We have no picks but good prospects... we'd need to lose the future.

Also just want to thank you Todd. Although I don't always agree with your analysis, I do really appreciate all the time and effort you dedicate to us Flame fans! Keep up the good work!
Thanks
