Always the worst games of the season. I can't even remember the last time I watched an entertaining Flyers/Devils game.

I though the January 13th, 2018 game was a good one to watch.

Oh god. Well then I'm not going to watch this loss. Haha. Afternoon game after an emotional win. Playing against the backup. I see no scoring 2 quick goals and then the snorfest begins.

This is a totally different Devils team then years past. I think you'll see an entertaining game today. Flyers win and they are 4 points back of the Devils. Rangers just lost Shattenkirk for the year. Pens are hit and miss a little. I think the Flyers can make up some ground. lots of teams seem to be getting hit with some injuries lately and the Flyers are healthy.

I am actually feeling a little confident

alumni game featuring the LOD, Propp, Timonen and Briere and the Flyers goals were scored by Todd Fedoruk, Jesse Boulerice (2), Jeff Chychrun, and Riley Cote.

Yeah the Devils are different but in recent times, the flyers haven't played vs them with any energy. Last Saturday was an exception and I hope it's the new rule. I agreed about the rangers and Pitt. Big step forward would to actually beat those teams head to head though

Agree.

I just have a good feeling this team makes the playoffs. I don't think the teams in front are so dominate as years past.

Even watching the Caps last night...they look like a one and done in the playoffs because they don't seem to play defense.

The teams in front are definitely not as dominant as they once were. The Flyers, however, remain a flawed team that will go exactly as far as their effort, determination, and willingness to play 60 minutes of hockey will take them, i.e. perhaps the 1st round of the playoffs.

I find it hard to be optimistic. The Flyers could really have helped themselves against the Rangers the other night. It should have been a good game. They should have had plenty of reason to play hard for the whole game. After the first 10 minutes they were a tire fire inside of a dumpster fire.

It was probably the late 80s game where Hextall beat the crap out of the Devils goalie whose name I can't remember. That or game 5 in the 04 playoffs, eliminating those douchebags was awesome!
