I'd prefer both. Lindblom doesn't fight but he uses his body well and wins board battles. Morin when healthy would be another guy who could add both.

I guess with the wonderful effort the other night by the D core it's only logical to sit Sanheim.

Would you guys trade Simmonds to OTT for Logan Brown? There would be more to the deal but Not sure where he ranks in their prospect pool. if we trade Simmonds to a team who’s 1st is I guess too high, I’m looking for a great prospect to add for the future

Yeah, but the latter aren't really guys you want in that LW4 spot. I still think, if Lindblom recent run continues and if Weal doesn't pick up (goal on Tuesday aside), you could see Weal return to the scratch list, Weise to the 4th line and Lindblom tried with Filppula and Voracek; moving Raffl to the Patrick line.

As for PK, I think Laughton, Raffl, Couturier and one of Simmonds or Giroux would be the four forwards if they go with two sets of two.

I like Logan Brown but for Ottawa I'd rather go after Colin White.

I personally dont have any issue with them calling up Ghoul..

As for the other more talented options..yup, their are more talented folks they could call up and then when they played 7 mins and didnt do much cause they are playing on the 4th line folks would lose their mind.

IMO you cant compare the 2, ghouls recall is independent of Lindblom. Ghouls isnt going to be tasked with playing a top 9 scoring role. He will be asked to fill an entirely different role then what they have planned for lindblom.

Clearly the GM doesn't think the swede is ready for a scoring role in the nhl yet. We can all disagree. Based on ronalds previous track record he will not rush anyone. So why people are surprised is a little baffling.

What's the alternative? Chugging along at 76 pct on the PK? Saving legs for games that will be rendered meaningless if the team doesn't starting winning, especially with all these divisional games finally arriving. The Flyers need to quickly have another surge like the 7-1-0 stretch that came after the 0-5-5 spell.
