I am in the "2 sweaters per team " camp, but for what it's worth, the Blackhawks have the coolest third in hockey when the black version of the standard kit is worn. I regret our complicity in the circular pendant "throwback" fad that had teams like the Bloohs, Mild, Ohio was not involved in the Revolution, and the hockey team in the Caribbean engaged in pretentious pageantry for the past decade.
Honestly the nhl has the best and worst uniforms in sports. I find the Mild's three logos and sweaters that all suck approach particularly lame and emblematic of the third jersey profiteering effort and am glad they have settled on something resembling an acceptable uniform. Bloohs went back to the good awful 00s system instead of one of the three fantastic sweaters they have worn because Missouri. Bruins not wearing a spoked B aren't Bruins. 3rds are dumb and 1/3 of the league is in a Manitoba level fashion crisis.
