He's not a bad 4th liner. My guess is league minimum with the Rangers to replace Fast while he's recovering from surgery.

Why are we not talking about one of the biggest question marks for the Flames.

Tyler Parsons needs to turn pro this year. That means one of our goalies needs to go and I know people would be reluctant to see Gillies go based on the fact we have waited a long time for him with high hopes.

Either way we have a log jam and someone needs to go!

I think I read somewhere that he'll start in the ECHL or somebody will. Make him beat somebody out in Stockton rather than gift it to him. IMO no way they're getting rid of Gillies.

I'd take Chiasson back on a cheap 1year deal!

Rittch isn't signed yet but Flames like him, he actually outperformed Gilles. They may wait until training camp before pulling the trigger on any deal.

No thanks. He's a decent 4th liner but we already know his ceiling & I would rather see what Jankowski, Lazar, Foo, Poirrier can do instead.

What a useless chart. We all knew Wideman sucked and the other players were 4th liners and bottom pairing defencemen. If they have better corsi and goal stats then the top lines and pairings, the team has a much bigger problem.

How many successful teams have 4th liners outperforming everyone else? How does the Penguins 4th line compare with their top 3 lines?

They haven't signed Rittch yet, so not sure if he will resign or head back to Chekslovak. He's an RFA & may not happy we brought in Lack. Read an article by Pat Steinberg & there is some speculation Tre isn't done yet & one of our goalies maybe in a deal. Even if its back for recouping draft picks. Rittch or Gilles could be moved, but I would imagine as we approach & get into training camp this may play out by itself.
