I'd make a couple of adjustments but it looks about right to me...

I think I'd switch up 3-5 on your list to:

3>Eichel
4>Laine
5>Seguin

Granted Eichel and Laine haven't been around as long as Seguin, and thus don't have the historical numbers. From the perspective of my own eyeballs though, I see Laine as a bigger, slightly better seguin, while Eichel is right up there with Mathews talent wise, and if he were a centre would be pretty much equal.
The rest of the list seems pretty solid.

I like Seguin up high simply because he plays with Benn and now Radulov likely added to their wing...that's a quality line.

Nothing wrong with your Eichel/Laine thoughts

Have you considered using Dom Luszczyszyn's game score numbers to draft a team?

never heard of him to be honest,

I always make my own lists for each pool (pending on categories) and go from there...I'm in so many pools yearly that I feel I have a solid grasp on what to expect in terms of output, etc.

whos this Dom guy and why would you feel it would be beneficial to use his game score numbers?

cheers!

Interesting read. I hope to beat you in the regular fantasy season not just the playoffs.

Lucas, my man, I have to disagree with you a bit.

My #1 isn't McDavid

It's definitely Yakupov

What do you guys think should be my keepers going into next season? I get to keep 5 and assuming Positioning is unchanged my keepers would be between the following players

C - Claude Giroux
C - Patrice Bergeron
C\LW - Ryan O'Reilly
D - Dougie Hamilton
D - Brent Burns
C\LW Brayden Schenn
RW - Blake Wheeler
D - Torey Krug
D - Justin Faulk
C - Sean Monahan
RW - Mark Stone

Categories are G, A, +/-, PIMS, PPP, SHP, GWG, FW, SOG, HIT BLK, W, GAA, SV%, SVs, SHO

So far Im looking at keeping: Burns, Wheeler, Hamilton and then the last 2 spots I am trying to decide between Giroux, Bergeron and O'Reilly. All 3 are among the top faceoff men in the league and give me an edge at FW. Trouble is Bergeron is close to mid 30s and should start to decline, Giroux's play has been on the decline due to injuries but could bounce back and O'Reilly has that LW position which gets me extra faceoff wins.

Any advise?

I like...
Bergeron
Burns
Wheeler
O'Reilly
and for #5 I would really like a goalie. But, I see no goalie. Looking like a pretty bleak team. Have you no goalies to consider keeping???

No My goalies were weak all season. I drafted Ludqvist Luongo and Andersen. I traded Andersen for Mrazek which was dumb on my part and ended up dropping Mrazek for Elliot later on when Elliot picked up his play. Only keeper goalie worth noting is Suros on Nashville but I doubt Rinne takes a back seat this season. Perhaps in a few years. My plan was to use my first pick on a goalie.

My team finished in 1st place regardless of my goalies but in 2nd round of the playoffs. I ran into a team with Holtby Bobrovsky and Bernier (On his hot streak). Didnt help that my players went cold and the guys who I benched in favour of other players were guys who produced.

Well, if you have no goalie. I would go with Faulk or Hamilton as my fifth....along with the four I picked of O'Reilly, Bergeron, Burns and Wheeler.

I think you've got to have Monahan in there, especially in a keeper league where you have to think about the future.

I know I am a big Monahan fan as well. My Centers were by far my strongest area. Just hard to keep him over the others

At this point I am hoping they remove O'Reilly's LW eligibility this season just to make my choice easier
