Sexton did an interview not to long back discussing the direction of the Amerks. The whole thing was impressive to me. It's nice to see that we have intelligent people in charge with a vision. It's anyone's guess if it will work out, but we are definitely in a better position as an organization with that guy overseeing Rochester.

Be nice if more uber rich people gave a poop about hockey. Then we might just be able to overtake the 3 ring circus called the NBA

I can't remember the last NBA game I watched, it's been a long time. If all 15 ESPN debate shows keep talking about stuff like, what type of shoes did Ball have on that night, the NHL will never overtake the NBA.

Fantsy Football trade someone requested from me. I have two first round picks this year. 4 and 12 OA in a 12 team league.

I give up
12OA
10th rd
15rd
16th rd

I get
4th rd
5th rd
7th rd
9th rd

- ImThatGuy

Do it before they change their mind. Or wait to see who's available at 12, but 99% of the time I do that trade, every time.

Rochester can't get much worse, so I am sure we will see some improvements. The plan moving forward seems to have much more of a purpose. Rochester always seemed like an afterthought in prior years, now you can tell this new management group is really putting in a lot of effort to make Rochester competitive.

NBA died 20 years ago for me. Turned into an individual sport not a team game. Nothing would piss me off more in the 90's and 2000's than a guy like Datsyuk scoring one of the prettiest goals off all time being the #2 highlight on ESPN and some stupid dunk was always #1

The NHL holding onto the archaic "ultimate team sport" mantra (which it really never was to begin with) is a major reason why the NBA exceeds the NHL in popularity. The league refusing to promote its stars in a big way is its own worst enemy.

And personally I think the humbleness and humility of NHL players is one of it's biggest assets

Disagree. The only NHL player to get his face shown on the ESPYS was Subban. Whether or not you like his antics, that's what gets you ratings

No way. the WR/RB#1 you get 12th overall is >>> than the WR/RB #2/3/bench players you get in rounds 4, 5 and 7. If you do this trade, you better have big rosters in your league.

Wouldn't you really rather have the 25th greatest scorer* in TBL history, Pavel Kubina?

KO is going to play summer league hockey. Looks like tales of his demise were greatly exaggerated.
