Losing him for playoffs would be yuuuuuge. But games in March? Yawn. Still have 8 guys that can score and best D/goalie in league. If he misses 20 games might go 14-6 instead of 16-4

Yeah, you're probably right.

I mainly just wanted to write about how good he is. He's kind of an underappreciated guy league-wide.

He is but like most of our great depth scoring he disappeared in Pitt series. Williams,Johannson,Kuznetsov and Bura need to step up this May. Its all Ovie's fault of course

Two great albums represented, not just deservingly top ten of the 70s but in the convo for all time importance. Aside from Iggy no other artist inspired punks on both sides of the Atlantic more so than Television; and Pink Flag along with the Buzzcocks Spiral Scratch ep did the same for post punk music. Wire even had a massive influence on later movements like Britpop (Elastica and Menswe@r shamelessly copied them) and the indie revival of the early 2000's. There are so many artists that deserve to be household names and these two are at the top of the pile...

I agree - interestingly, the Wire were a band I learned about when they sued Elastica, which was something I really liked in 1996!
