i can't believe the prices these athletes charge for an autograph. If it wasn't for us fans that dish out big bucks for tickets, parking merchandise etc., then these players would not be making the big bucks.

It would be nice if these athletes would give back to the fans for once instead of gauging us anytime they get a chance.

I like watching these guys play, but it just reinforces my belief that all players are pretty much mercenaries. Seldom do they ever give a hometown discount, unless there's other dispensation. I guess signing autographs are one of these dispensations.

So... I found out it's not the athletes that set these prices it's the venue, in this case AJ Sports. The athletes get paid a fee to attend and sign autographs, up to 300 each. The store sets the price and gets to keep the difference. Not sure if the guys have different rates. I didn't get this info from a confined source but makes sense.
